        What We're All About!

Urban Bee Company is located in Raleigh, NC. We serve the triangle and surrounding areas. We strive to educate communities about the role  honeybees play for them and for our planet. We also push for preservation, as very few honeybee hives actually need exterminating and a world wide collapse syndrome is still looming. We believe the primary benefit of honeybees is pollination, providing many of the foods we eat and increasing production per square foot in urban gardens. We perform professional swarm removals and professional whole honeybee hive removals. All swarms and honeybee hives are saved and reestablished or donated to fellow beekeepers. Contact us today for a free removal quote!

Urban Bee Company professionally removes honeybee swarms at a very low cost to the consumer. It is far more important that the bees survive and flourish than anyone makes a profit for their removal. All we charge is a fuel fee based upon your location with a minimum of 20 dollars and a maximum of 60 dollars. Click here to learn about swarms and how they are removed!

        Honeybee Colony Removal

        Picture

European Honeybees nearly exclusively build their colonies in hollow cavities. Common honeybee cavities are hollowed trees or voids in rock faces. The design of most homes provide numerous voids and cavities. Bees will settle in soffits, especially near the chimney, in-between the floors and inside certain types of walls. Established honeybee colonies MUST be removed entirely. Killing the honeybees will not solve the issue. Click here to learn about honeybee removal.
